    Red Fox

    Brush pen on cartridge paper.

Amidst the trees and rolling hills, A sly and clever creature roams.

The red fox with its russet fur, A hunter in a world unknown.

With pointed ears and bushy tail, It moves with grace and cunning guile.

A flash of red against the green, A fleeting glimpse of nature’s smile.

Oh, how it skulks and creeps and crawls, A wily thief in silent guise.

A master of deception’s art, The red fox steals away with prize.

    Marblefaces

I had been trying some marbling recently and it reminded me of an old sketchbook page that I had kept a hold of meaning to turn into something. So I’ve scanned it and coloured it, I might go into the black lines and draw out some contours, or add some shading to the coloured areas to bring them forward from the intersecting dark lines, or both.

I’m working on it in vector format, so it could potentially be printed out at quite a large scale. I think it would look quite good filling a wall.

The original sketch was in an A5 notepad from when I was in college I think.
